Bistro Lumière had earned a Michelin star but their website was stuck in 2012 — a static PDF menu, an email-only reservation system that overflowed daily, and a mobile experience that drove more guests away than it attracted.
The challenge was designing a digital experience that matched the elegance and attention to detail of the dining experience itself. Every interaction needed to feel as carefully considered as plating a signature dish. The reservation system had to handle peak demand without frustration, and the menu needed to make mouths water through a screen.
Dined at Bistro Lumière multiple times to understand the guest journey. Interviewed regulars about their booking frustrations and studied how competitors handled high-end reservations.
Created an immersive, dark-themed experience with gold accents, large-scale food photography, and a reservation flow designed to feel as effortless as being seated by the maître d'.
